Every piece, the only one

Matchless Pieces was founded on a simple conviction: the most important works of art exist once. A gilded frontispiece by an Ottoman müzehhip, a page from a Safavid Shahnameh, a hilye by Hafız Osman — none can be repeated.

We bring together auctions, private sales and scholarship for illumination (tezhip), miniature painting and calligraphy (hat), alongside every collecting field where the singular matters: Old Masters, jewels, antiquities, Asian art and more.
