Kalligrafische tekening met de aanhef: Ad nob. amp. virum Johannem ab Oldenbarnevelt, dominum de Tempel & Holland & Westfris. advocatu(m) et magni sigilli custodem. Daaronder in een andere hand een gedecoreerde initiaal D en acht regels tekst in het Latijn: Dum domitos baccho ... Ondertekend als Johannes Veldius. Met enkele plakstroken ter verbetering van de laatste regel in de aanhef, het onderste deel van de initiaal en de eerste letters van de tekst. De tekening maakt deel uit van een album.
