Bifolio from the Book of Psalms (R2149), written in Greek with ink on papyrus; made in Egypt and dated to the fourth century AD. The text follows the Septuagint, or Greek version of the Hebrew Bible. The titles in this manuscript were added by the same hand but in smaller letters, possibly after the text was completed. The manuscript is associated with the Pachomian monastic library, also known as the Dishna Papers, or Bodmer Papyri, a portion of which was acquired by Beatty in 1956.
