Reception of Asafi Pasha (lower left) by the son of the Safavid Shah Muhammad Khudabanda (d.r. 1578-1587) Hamza Mirza. The latter is sitting on a chair with a falcon on his arm, surrounded by courtiers and the captive Crimean prince Gaza-Gerai (left). The latter, together with his brother Adil-Gerai, was captured during the Persian campaign of 1578. He spent 7 years in captivity, after which he fled to Turkey and subsequently became the Khan of Gaza II Giray (d.r. 1588-1607).
