Medieval lead discoidal weight with a narrow central perforation and quatrefoil within a circle moulded in counter-relief on the front face. Diameter 36mm. Thickness 7mm. Central hole diameter 3mm. It weighs 1028 grains, and is therefore without convincing match with either the troy or avoirdupois system. It is in quite fresh condition and must have lost little of its mass. However, the perforation may be secondary and there are signs of some pairing away of the surface in the centre of the reverse.
